Learning Jet Ski Tricks/Stunts
Learning Jet Ski Tricks/Stunts You can Master Quickly
You bought a jet ski last season and spent your time getting really comfortable with its capabilities, learning to maneuver it and get the most action out of it. Now you’re ready to add some tricks and stunts to your repertoire. If learning jet ski tricks/stunts is in the mix for this season the best way to do it is to observe others in action. It will also help to pick their brain about what exactly they are doing to get their jet ski to react that way. There are also tons of jet ski tricks and stunts videos on video sharing sights everywhere.
You’re probably interested in learning jet ski tricks/stunts that you’ve seen others do, and when you have mastered those, here are others you ought to consider:
1. Power 360: This is a solid, basic trick that will get you started very handsomely. It starts with you running about 20 mph so your jet ski is just starting to rise out of the water. Lean forward and raise your pole up high. Turn roughly 15 degrees right and then crank it back hard to the left. The goal is to sink the nose enough to have it catch and drag the front around. When the nose is under the water, open the throttle quickly and drive the jet ski down. The momentum will pull the watercraft around so you are facing the original direction, completing the revolution.
2. Bunny Hop: Again at 20 mph lay off the throttle just enough to have the nose dip. Throw yourself forward to drive the nose down. With personal watercraft, what goes down must come up, so your jet ski will hop up to the surface. With the right timing you will be able to get the entire jet ski out of the water. Timing, more than force, is the key. Here’s the added bonus: this trick allows you to stop dead in your tracks and will be of good use when a rock or log suddenly appears in front of you and the only way to avoid collision is to bunny hop!
3. The Porpoise: This is a nice add-on to the bunny hop. Once you’ve mastered that trick, attempt to go right into another one. When you get the rhythm down you’ll be able to hop around looking like a porpoise at play. This one is fun to master and a crowd pleaser.
When learning jet ski tricks/stunts these are some very good basic ones to begin with. The tricks are fun and they’ll also teach you a great deal about your jet ski’s capabilities and how you can make the most of them. After a few weeks you may be ready to move on to advanced trips including the Barrel Roll, the Hand Grab, the Tailstand and many more. Take precaution on all of these jet ski stunts and tricks because they can be dangerous. Get comfortable with your personal watercraft, know your limitations, and tackle your favorite jet ski tricks/stunts!
